Neighborhood Advisor - Bilingual

(Full time with benefits)

Responsible for outreach, advocacy, referrals, and linkages to supports and services for older adults that are living independently.  The successful candidate will be bilingual Spanish/English and have experience with and/or the ability to connect with seniors from diverse backgrounds.  Good verbal and written communication skills (bilingual Spanish/English) and a valid NYS Driver’s License are required.  A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a related field is preferred.  An Associate’s Degree or High School Diploma with 2-4 years of human service and case management experience with seniors would be considered.

Behavior Therapist Delaware County

The Huntington Family Center Behavior Therapist will work as a member of the Delaware County Clinical team in collaboration with the Delaware County Department of Social Services Child Protective and Preventive Teams. Responsibilities include: joint visits with DSS staff to assist in initial assessments related to Mental Health barriers and/or Substance Use Disorders, treatment and follow up referrals, act as liaison with Mental Health and Substance Abuse providers, provide individual, family and group counseling with identified families and support to DSS CPS staff. The therapist will manage a caseload of approximately 10 families maintaining all necessary case documentation including treatment plans. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written as well as culturally competent. Masters degree in mental health, social work or similar field with 2 years of clinical experience required. CASAC and Trauma informed training preferred. (full time)

Therapist

Huntington Family Centers is seeking a full time therapist responsible for providing community based mental health therapy for families referred through the Oswego County Department of Social Services. The therapist will work as a member of the Oswego County Clinical team in collaboration with the Oswego County Department of Social Services Child Protective and Preventive Teams. Responsibilities include: joint visits with DSS staff to assist in initial assessments related to Mental Health barriers and/or Substance Use Disorders as needed, treatment and follow up referrals, act as liaison with Mental Health and Substance Abuse providers as needed, provide individual/family/couples/group therapy with identified families and support to DSS CPS staff. The therapist will manage a caseload of approximately 10 families maintaining all necessary case documentation including treatment plans and Plans of Safe Care. The therapist must have excellent culturally competent verbal and written communication skills. The therapist must possess a Master’s degree in mental health, social work or similar field with 2 years of clinical experience required. CASAC and Trauma informed training preferred. The therapist must have valid NYS Driver’s License and ability to visit clients in the community. (full time)

Facilities and Vehicles Manager:

The Facilities and Vehicles Manager will be responsible for buildings and grounds maintenance as well as vehicle upkeep. Responsibilities will include: daily assessment of building maintenance needs, repairs if applicable, coordination and supervision of outside contract assistance such as plumbing or electrical, coordination of all building and vehicle inspections and repairs, painting, light snow removal and salting in winter, light yardwork in fall and spring, assistance with cleaning above and beyond what contract cleaners achieve, assistance with set up and take down of meeting rooms to include moving tables and chairs and other maintenance or facilities responsibilities as requested. The position requires the ability to lift up to fifty pounds and physically meet the demands of the position. This is a part time with benefits position. It will be required to work Monday through Friday and the ability to travel to the Agency's other building in Fulton NY.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $13.00 to $15.00 /hour
